Pronounced “mung,” an ethnic group from the mountainous regions of China, Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand. We are a rare blend of people who are movers and shakers, creative creatures, adaptable spirits, determined achievers, generous neighbors with a culture rich in traditional rites and rituals.
A traditional Hmong meal includes a simple soup, boiled vegetable, rice and a spicy pepper sauce for dipping. Hmong cuisine is hybrid of Thai, Laos and Vietnamese foods. We eat similar dishes found in Southeast Asia, but always with a Hmong flare.
